Kay Agnes (Dethy) Hoehn, age 85, of Corydon, Indiana, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on December 28, 2025.

Kay was born on December 28, 1940, in New Albany, Indiana, to Charles and Amelia (Missi) Dethy. She attended high school in Ferdinand, Indiana, and later worked as a legal secretary, retiring after many years of dedicated service. On June 23, 1962, Kay married Herbert Hoehn, and together they made their home in New Salisbury, Indiana.

Kay was a faithful member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana. She enjoyed working puzzles, was an avid sports fan, and most of all cherished time spent with her family and grandchildren. Her warmth, quiet strength, and devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herbert Hoehn; her sister, Elvira Dethy, OSB; and her grandson, Jackson Diddock.

Kay is survived by her sons, Herbert (Karen) Hoehn, Jr. and Samuel (Holly) Hoehn; her daughter, Stephanie (Jerry) Smith; her sister, Dorothy Allen; her brothers, Cletus (Jean) Dethy and Jim Dethy; her sister, Rose Schenck; seven grandchildren, Anthony (Jessica) Hoehn, Michael (Lauren) Hoehn, Samantha (Craig) Evans, Kristin Hoehn, Lauren (Mitch) Meador, Heather Van Bree, Mason Diddock. Nine great-grandchildren, Emma Evans, Maverick Evans, Dallas Meador, Gatlin Meador, Cash Meador, Beau Herthel, Juniper Diddock, Ellie Hoehn, and Henry Hoehn; and her faithful companion, "Cocoa."

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra, Indiana, and again on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana.
