Kay Lennox Obituary

Kay G. Lennox, 91, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Monday after a brief illness, surrounded by her family. She was born in Gouverneur, NY where she was raised and educated, graduating from Gouverneur High School. Kay completed her studies at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital School of Nursing becoming a Registered Nurse. Kay was a strong woman, yet full of grace, always caring for others before herself. She led an active lifestyle, always walking to and from the gym. She was an avid reader and loved quilting. She was a communicant of Catholic Family of Epiphany Church. Kay is predeceased by her beloved husband, Gordon T. Lennox in 2011.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her three sons, Steven, Brian and Timothy Lennox, three daughters, Susan Lennox, Donna (James Farella) Lennox and Teresa (Peter) Scorsone, 11 grandchildren, her sister, Judy Minnaugh, several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11:00 am in Catholic Family of Epiphany Church, 1001 Tulip Street, Liverpool, NY 13088. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Liverpool Village Cemetery.
Contributions in Kay's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

I remember Kay as a La Leche League leader. She was very kind and helped encourage many young mothers who wanted to nurse their babies.
