Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2025 at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Duck Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Monday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include daughters, Sheryl Abel Butler of Germantown, TN, Cynthia Rogers of Big Creek and Deborah Clay of Atoka, TN; sons, Gerald Abel of Murfreesboro, TN, Randy Marter of Charleston, and Bill Abel of Grenada; five grandchildren, Eli Butler, Victoria Butler, Lori Mitchell, Haley Mitchell & Johnny Marter and three great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Marter, son, Terry Dwayne Abel and brother, Larry Veasey.
