Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Edwin Murray and by her two sons, a grief she bore with characteristic resilience. She is survived by a granddaughter and her family, including two great-grandchildren, one brother, and a number of nieces and nephews.
She will be remembered by those who knew her as someone who meant what she said, gave what she could, and asked for very little in return.
Her Family and friends will be having a graveside memorial to bury her ashes alongside her husband and beloved dogs on March 7th, 2026 at McCalls Chapel United Methodist Church in Brandford, FL at 1100 AM.
