Kay Pearson Obituary
Kay was born on June 6, 1945, to the late Edward and Minnie Elizabeth Busby Piper. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Edward Piper; three sisters, Ruth Moss, Agnes Buice, and Doreen O'Neil.
Kay is survived by three daughters, Paula Scism and her husband, Philip, of King's Mountain, Laura Childers and her husband, Chip, of Shelby, Penny Dowless and her husband, Vann, of Monroe; a special friend, Larry Presnell and his daughter, Jennifer Urzen, of Clyde; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A Private Graveside Service will be held in King's Mountain.

I was lucky enough to meet and help Kay for a period of time a few years ago! She was a gracious, friendly lady with a great sense of humor! We became fast friends!! Our pleasant phone conversations kept us close regardless of the distance between us!! Prayers and condolences to all her loved ones! You will be missed, my friend!!
