Kay Ray Obituary
Mrs. Kay Ray, age 66 of the Stinking Creek Community passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023. She attended Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Kay was a Teacher’s Aide for many years at Wynn and White Oak Schools. She also enjoyed her time as a consultant with Merle Norman, and the many travels and time it awarded her with her Niece, Amber. Kay’s greatest joy was being with her family and spending time together. Preceded in death by Parents, Charlie and Betty Murray Ridenour, Brothers, Barry Ridenour and Reynold Ridenour, Sisters, Brenda Ridenour and Nona Albertini.
Survivors: Husband, John Wesley Ray; Sons, Shawn Ray and Wife, Carrie, and Barry Ray and Wife, Joni; Grandchildren, Brandon, Sophia, Memphis, Ace, Hazel, Madison, Austin, and Emilee; Sisters, Lana Asher and Marilyn McKnight, Brother, Mike Ridenour. Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. H. Lee Ray officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Tuesday before services. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Kay Ray.
