Kay M. Stidham, 80, of Austin, IN, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

She was born on June 1, 1945, in Princeton, IL to Russell and Blanche (Dailey) Richmond. Kay dedicated her life to being a loving homemaker, and she was happiest when surrounded by her family.

Kay enjoyed simple pleasures such as coloring, reading her Bible, cleaning, and watching westerns on TV. She loved spending time outdoors, and nothing brought her more joy than the time she shared with her family, especially her grandson and great-grandchildren. Known for her sweet, outgoing nature, Kay was loved by everyone she met.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Lee Owens of Austin, IN, Brian Owens of Austin, IN, and Pamela (John) Napier of Scottsburg, IN; one grandson, Jermey Owens of Scottsburg, IN; two great-grandchildren, Abagail and Zoe Owens; and her sister, Donna Sue Hollon.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gordon and Jim Richmond.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Adams Family Funeral Homes & Crematory in Crothersville, IN, with burial to follow at Uniontown Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 10:30 AM until the time of service on the same day.

Memorial donations may be made to Uniontown Cemetery in honor of Kay.
