Kay Lorraine Tiff of Loveland, Colorado, passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 80. Kay was born November 7, 1944 in Riverton, Wyoming. She grew up in Hot Springs, South Dakota, and went on to attend college at Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, where she met her husband John Tiff. Shortly after their marriage John began his career as a Park Historian with the National Park Service, which took them to several states and eventually to Johnson City, Texas, where they raised their family. After John's retirement they sold their house and spent 10 years as full-time RVers, a life they loved. Kay was an accomplished calligrapher and thus was able to share her love of words in a beautiful way. Whether it was a poem, a Bible verse, or an inspirational quote it would be put down in beautiful script and shared.

Kay is survived by her daughter Anita Proctor (Rob) of Houston, Texas; her grandson Isaac Schauer (Julia) of Houston, Texas; and her sister Ellen Ring (Ron) of Loveland, Colorado. She was predeceased in death by her husband John Tiff (2/3/2010), her son Steven Tiff (9/25/1990) and her sister Alfa Ward (7/29/1998). In memory of Kay she asked that you "give flowers to a friend".
