Kaye Glenn, 77, of Corsicana, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2024. Kaye was born on December 3, 1946, to Franklin Rufus Nichols and Ruby Glee Payne, Kaye lived a life rich in creativity, compassion, and devotion to her loved ones.
An artist at heart, Kaye found solace and joy in drawing, arts and crafts, and knitting. Her passion for creativity extended beyond her personal pursuits, as she dedicated herself to teaching and nurturing her students, sharing her love for the arts with each lesson.
Kaye's spiritual journey was deeply significant to her, as she embraced her faith as a messianic Jew. Fluent in Hebrew, she possessed a profound connection to her heritage, finding fulfillment in studying, reading, and writing in the ancient language.
Throughout her life, Kaye shared a profound bond with her beloved husband, Colbert Glenn, who preceded her in death. Their enduring love continues to be cherished and remembered by all who knew them.
Kaye is survived by her loving children, Syma Moody (Tim) and Donald Swope, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Katelyn Butler and Kristen Moody, and great-grandchildren, Daphne Butler and Lola Butler. She is also survived by her dear sister, Su Ferguson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In her passing, Kaye leaves behind a legacy of creativity, kindness, and unwavering love. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.
