Kaye Morris Shuman “Krazy K”,64, transitioned peacefully surrounded by family, making her way to her Heavenly home on April 11, 2024
She was the owner/operator of Krazy K's Tees & Trophies for over 25 years. Working hard and meeting her customers’ needs was something she enjoyed doing.
She was a 1976 graduate of Effingham County High. She was a member of Meldrim Baptist Church, but most recently she attended Central Baptist Church in Garden City.
Kaye loved people and loved to help anyone that she could. She loved life, trips to Tybee and the mountains, concerts with her friends and family, and anything that was simple. She loved to write short stories and articles, enjoyed cooking for others, and she loved to sing karaoke.
Kaye's biggest love besides her love for Jesus was her three grandchildren, Kolbi, Karter, and Kash. Being with them was when she was the happiest. She lived, breathed, and drank "her babies" up!
She is survived by her two children, Kris Shuman (Timea Erdofi), and Kasey Wilson (Kendall); three adorable grandchildren, Kolbi Wilson, Karter Wilson and Kashton Wilson; sisters, Eva Jean Hendrix (William) of Brooklet, and Brenda Morris of Statesboro; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Sanders of Guyton. She is also survived by an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, many friends, and her four granddogs, Harley, Honey, Bella, and Shadow. All of whom she loved with all her heart!
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jimmie and Gerry Morris of Faulkville; sisters Faye Sanders and Sherry Harvey; brother, Kenny Morris, also of Faulkville; her late husband, Ashley Shuman of Wilmington Island; and her daughter-in-law, Mary Shuman of Pooler.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024, at Carlson & Riggs Funeral Home in Guyton, Ga. from 2pm until 4pm. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 4pm in the chapel of the funeral home with Bro. Kenny Harrelson and Bro. Steve Purnell officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Meldrim.
Kaye asks that no one come all dressed up. Jeans are fine to wear.
God bless each of you!!
Pallbearers will be her grandson Karter Wilson, brother-in-law Ronnie Sanders, nephews Jamie Smith, Jeremy Todd, Mike Harvey, and Wesley Hendrix; and honorary pallbearer, grandson Kashton Wilson.
