Kaye Stone Obituary
Kaye Janet Stone, 79, of McPherson, KS and formerly of Hutchinson, KS and Colorado, peacefully passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024, surrounded by family at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.
Kaye was born August 4, 1945, in Denver, CO, the daughter of Harry and Sylvia Tzivia (Daschut) Friedman. She graduated from North High School in Denver in 1963.
She was an amazing homemaker. Kaye made sure all her children’s needs were met, made spectacular meals, and kept their home immaculate.
Survivors include her daughter, Marisa Astuno of Little River, KS; son, Jeffrey Stone (Susan); former spouse, Jimmie Stone of Colorado Springs, CO; three grandchildren, Quinn McDonald, Evelyn Wilson, and Lily Love, all of Little River, KS; three cousins, Joe Bernstein (Judy), Bobby Bernstein (Bonnie), and Steve Bernstein (Julie); and the staff and residents who became like family at the McPherson Health & Rehab.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 455 Harrison, Little River, KS, with Father Edmond Kline officiating. Burial will follow at the McPherson Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
