Kayla Marie Hebert, a cherished member of her family and a vibrant presence in the lives of those who knew her, was born on August 15, 1989, in Nederland, Texas. She passed away on December 16, 2025, in Galveston, Texas, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and creativity.
Kayla attended Nederland High School. She was known for her big heart and brought joy to everyone around her with her funny, loud, and bubbly personality. Friends and family alike will always remember her as someone who was full of life, with her infectious laughter.
Kayla had a passion for doing DIY projects and enjoyed crafting. These hobbies not only allowed her to express her creativity but also served as a way to connect with loved ones through shared experiences.
In her passing, Kayla leaves behind her father, Alan Hebert and Michelle Hughes, as well as her mother, Dana Hebert. She is survived by her son, Ayden Armstrong; daughters, Kynleigh Meadows and Madisyn Meadows, along with their father, Derek Meadows. Also mourning her loss are her siblings, Haley Hebert, Kyle Hebert and his wife Emily; and Madeline Bean. She is remembered fondly by her nephews, Kaisen Coble and Giovanni Hernandez; alongside numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family who will carry her memory in their hearts.
Kayla was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jenny Blanchard, Guy Hebert, Beverly Rivera, and Gilbert Rivera, who have undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms in the afterlife.
Her legacy will remain alive in the lives she touched and the love she spread so generously. Kayla Marie Hebert will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Kayla's Life to begin at 4:00 p.m., at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland.
Cremation services are under the direction of Claybar Haven of Rest.
