Obituary Kaylanee Renee Orr
Kaylanee Renee Orr, 21, of Blackfoot, Idaho, passed away on October 10, 2025, doing what she loved most-hunting with her dad.
Kaylanee was born on December 30, 2003, in Rexburg, Idaho. From an early age, she brought joy, laughter, and passion into every aspect of life. A 2022 graduate of Snake River High School, Kaylanee was deeply involved in her school community. She played on the soccer team, performed in school plays, sang in the chamber choir, and served as president of the debate team, where her voice and leadership made a lasting impact.
She loved traveling and exploring new places, with Yellowstone holding a special place in her heart. She had a fondness for collecting mugs, listening to music, playing D&D, and enjoying all things fall. But more than anything, Kaylanee loved her family. She often said, "Family is the most important thing," and she lived by those words every day.
Kaylanee's faith was the foundation of her life. She proudly served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Hamilton, New Zealand, where she touched many lives with her kindness, dedication, and testimony.
On April 20, 2024, she married the love of her life, Jacob Dallas Orr. Their time together, though brief, was filled with deep love, laughter, and shared dreams. Kaylanee adored her husband and cherished their life together.
Kaylanee is survived by her beloved husband, Jacob Dallas Orr; her parents, Jay and Stephanie Pierce; her siblings, Braiden, Ashlynn, and Kaizlee Pierce; her parents-in-law, Dallas and Becky Orr; and her brothers-in-law, Tracen, Colby, Kyler, and Zack Orr. Her grandparents Brent and Zana Bitton and Greg and Patricia Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Wayne and Jessie Maupin and her Grandma and Grandpa Fullmer.
Kaylanee will be remembered for her light, her laughter, her strong testimony, and the way she made everyone around her feel seen and loved.
A viewing will be held on Friday, October 17, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot, Idaho. An additional viewing will take place on Saturday, October 18, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Blackfoot Northwest Stake Center, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
