Kayle Dutson Obituary

Kayle Rulon Dutson

September 6, 1955 ~ November 18, 2024

Kayle Rulon Dutson, age 69, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024. He was born on September 6, 1955, to parents Elwood Dutson and Loralee Vanjonora.

Staff Sergeant Dutson was an Army veteran who served overseas in the 87th infantry regiment (mechanized), 8th infantry division. Upon returning home, he married the love of his life, Lauralee Riding. He continued to work in the Army National Guard until his retirement. He was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed learning and teaching about his beliefs. One of his favorite things to do in his spare time was long range rifle shooting and honing his close quarters handgun skills. He especially enjoyed doing this with his children and grandchildren. One of his greatest joys was being a grandpa.

Kayle is survived by his wife Lauralee Riding; daughters Leah (Bart) and Gretchen (Wes) and sons Caleb (Jessica) and Geoff; sister Diana and brother John (Carolyn); and 9 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Elwood and Loralee.
