It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious little Kayson Josiah Pittmon, who left us far too soon on March 28, 2026. Born on January 15, 2026, Kayson made his grand entrance into the world weighing just 4 pounds 9 ounces, but he was rich in spirit and full of attitude.
In his brief time with us, Kayson brought endless joy to his family. He quickly became a bright light in the lives of his parents, Omarian “Jojo” Pittmon and Alexis Pennington. Always keeping his daddy in sight, they would spend hours listening to music and playing video games. With his mama's affectionate words calling him "handsome," Kayson would respond with the sweetest, heartwarming smiles that could melt anyone’s heart.
Kayson is deeply cherished and survived by his loving parents, Jojo and Alexis; his grandmas, Laura and Kristen “Nana K”; his auntie, Abby; and his uncles, Darius and Desean. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandma, Kenicia Bullock, and his maternal great-grandma, Debra Brunner.
A private celebration of life will be held.
