The grew up in Vietnam and in November of 1967, he married Ri Thi Nguyen. They moved to Garden City in 1998 and have lived in Garden City since. He worked for many years at BPI (Beef Products, Inc.). The enjoyed reading, watching the news on TV, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife Ri Thi Nguyen of the home; two sons Dien Thanh Nguyen & wife Chastity and Kiet Tuan Nguyen; a daughter Bich Ngoc Thi Nguyen; a brother Lam Buu Nguyen; a sister Be Thi Nguyen; and three grandchildren Elizabeth Nguyen, Catherine Nguyen, & Alexandra Nguyen. This is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral service for The will be held from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Graveside services will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Visitation hours will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from Noon to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, all at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. Condolences may be given at garnandfuneralhomes.com.
