Keenan Anthony Honeycutt was born on October 6, 2016, and departed this earth on November 2, 2025, at 9 years of age.
He was the beloved son of Keirsten Howard and Jack Honeycutt of South Point, Ohio.
Keenan is survived by his three brothers, Kyrie, Kamari, and Kaimani Honeycutt, who adored him deeply.
He is also survived by his grandparents, Michael (Elizabeth) Howard of South Point, Veronica Howard of South Point, and Grandfather Mark Honeycutt of Florida; as well as his great-grandparents, Vivian Howard of South Point, Kimberly Bryson Ratcliff of South Point, Shirley Spooner (John), and Richard Browning. Keenan was deeply loved by his aunt Arianna, whom he lovingly called "DeeDee". His uncle Caine, affectionately known to him as "Uncle Dane," and his uncle Mark Honeycutt.
Keenan was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers Eugene "Buddy" Ratcliff and Michael Howard, and his grandmother Jacqueline Honeycutt.
Keenan was a proud student at Burlington Elementary School, where he made many friends and brightened every classroom he entered. He loved playing football and had just played in his final championship game on November 1, 2025, before gaining his heavenly wings the following day.
Keenan had a smile that could light up any room. He loved spending time with his family and friends, giving the best hugs, and spreading joy wherever he went. Known for his incredible speed on the field and his always-perfect hair, Keenan will be remembered for his energy, kindness, and the love he brought to everyone who knew him.
Keenan is also survived by a host of cousins and extended family who loved him dearly.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this most difficult time. Our hearts are overwhelmed by the kindness and compassion we have been shown. A special thank you to every first responder, doctor, and nurse.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at New Jerusalem Christian Center, 817 S. 8th Street, Ironton, OH 45638, with Bishop Glover officiating. Burial will follow at Burlington 37 Cemetery, Burlington, OH. A joint visitation with his best friend, Cole, will be held for family and friends from 5 PM to 8 PM at South Point High School, providing an opportunity for shared memories and support.
