It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of my beloved brother, Keith L. Ashby, who left us on February 26, 2024. He was 43 years old.
Keith, as he was fondly called by friends and family, was born on August 1st, 1980, to Keith Joel Ashby, and Clara Elena Ashby (Brannon) in Bronx, NY. He grew up in Bronx, where he and his sister then moved to Belize, Central American to live with his Grandparent after the passing of their father in 1984.
Keith was a hardworking and dedicated person who excelled in many areas of life. He was known for his exceptional skills and professionalism, and he was respected by his colleagues and fellow individuals that came into his life alike.
Despite his obstacles in life Keith was always available for his family and friends. He was a loving and caring brother who was there for his sibling when in need. He always had an enthusiastic sense of humor and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face.
In his free time, Keith enjoyed the beginning of becoming a first-time parent to his only son, Joel Mason Ashby who is his pride and joy, watching soccer, football, and being with his friends and family. Keith was always eager to share his knowledge and experiences with others.
Keith is survived by his parent, Clara Brannon, his sibling Sandy Gantt, and his only child Joel Mason Ashby. His nieces, Jestine and Ja'Neece, and a nephew Kevin Jaden. Keith has also left behind many cousins that loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any Homeless Services and to https://www.fullbasketbelize.org, in memory of Keith.
Rest in peace, Dear brother. You will always be in our hearts and memories.
