Keith Bacon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Locust Grove Funeral Home - Locust Grove on Mar. 16, 2026.
Keith Wesley Bacon was born on January 10, 1968, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to P.J. and C. June (Webb) Bacon, and was raised in Tulsa and Mannford, Oklahoma, and later made his home in Peggs, Oklahoma, where he had lived for the past nine years. Keith passed from this life on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at his home in Peggs, Oklahoma. He was 58 years old.

On January 27, 2017, Keith married the love of his life, Kimberly Diane Ross, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The couple first met while working together at the Black Eye Pea Restaurant in Tulsa, a place that would become an important part of Keith's early career. Keith began working at the Black Eye Pea Restaurant in Tulsa as a dishwasher and eventually worked his way up to waiting tables. His dedication and work ethic later led him to Memphis, Tennessee, where he managed a Black Eye Pea restaurant. Keith later returned to Oklahoma and spent more than 30 years co-owning and operating Bacon & Son Furniture in Tulsa alongside his father, P.J. Bacon. The family business allowed Keith to do what he loved most-working with his dad and serving customers with care and attention to detail.

Keith attended the Church of Christ in Mannford, Oklahoma for many years.

In his spare time, Keith enjoyed restoring automobiles and working with his father. He had a remarkable ability to fix almost anything and was known for his natural talent with tools and mechanical work. Keith loved the outdoors and had a special fondness for the water, often enjoying time spent in a boat.

He also had an incredible memory and was known for remembering names, faces, and even specific furniture purchases made by customers. Keith was an avid fan of the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys. Along with his close friend, Donnie Golden, he made numerous trips over the years to attend the annual OU and Texas football game. Keith enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Florida, and he particularly loved visiting Pensacola. He and Kim shared a love for music and attended many concerts together. Keith especially enjoyed Guns N' Roses, The Cult, and music from the 1980s.

Keith loved spending time with his family and especially cherished visits and conversations with his mother. He also enjoyed cooking and will fondly be remembered for his cheese, broccoli, and rice casserole that he faithfully brought to family gatherings.

Keith will be remembered for his sharp memory, his quick wit, and his ability to tell a great story. His sense of humor and warm personality made him someone people enjoyed being around, and he leaves behind many wonderful memories for those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Keith is survived by: His wife: Kimberly Bacon of the home; 1 son: Wesley James Bacon and wife Tessa of Ft.
