Keith DeVere Creglow, born on April 10, 1939, in Pekin, Illinois, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2026, at Alden Courts at the age of 86.
Keith was the son of Donald and Louise (nee Herren) Creglow, and he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Carol Creglow, his parents, son-in-law Jerry Conder and one great granddaughter. He is survived by his three daughters, Amy (Brian) Conder Hobbs, Sondi (Erica Graham) Creglow, and Kara (Trevor) Wickie, who will forever cherish the memories they created together. Keith was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Kimberli Conder, Kasie (Thomas) Huether, Korie (Russel) Jessop, Jaxen Wickie, Mackenzie Wickie, and Kennedy Wickie. He was also a great-grandfather of eight, Brody, Blake, Kaleb, Jerika, Skyler, Joshua, Kiya, and Jase. He is also survived by his brother, Larry (Marcia) Creglow.
Keith was a proud veteran of the US Coast Guard and enjoyed his work as an Electrical Estimator. Keith was actively involved with Grace Community Christian Church and served as an Elder. In his downtime, Keith enjoyed fishing, camping & boating with family and friends, woodworking and had a particular fondness for lighthouses. In his later years Keith found pure joy in coloring and was particularly proud of his Best Artist award from the staff at Alden Courts of Waterford.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 2:00 P.M. until time of Celebration of Life Service 4:00 P.M. Military Honors under the auspices of the United States Coast Guard will conclude the services at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his honor to Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association,
