We celebrate the life of Keith A. Davis Sr., born on December 13, 1958, in South Bend, IN. A true son of South Bend, Keith passed away on July 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of service, love, and dedication.

Keith was a man of many talents and passions. A graduate of Riley High School in 1977, he served his country proudly in the Army before embarking on a distinguished 18-year career as a Maintenance Technician for the University of Notre Dame. He was a dedicated servant, both in his work and his faith, attending Christian Center Church regularly. Known for his hands-on skills, Keith was an avid gardener and handyman, always ready to offer his expertise and assistance. Yet, his dedication to his beloved Fighting Irish always shone through, his unwavering support for Notre Dame was a testament to his love for his community and his alma mater.

Keith's love extended to his large family, a testament to his warm heart and generous spirit. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Dorene Davis, his children: Keitra Davis, Kim Powell (Marshall), Shawnae Davis, all of South Bend, IN, Michael (Kawana) Rogers of Indianapolis, IN, Devin Davis of Mishawaka, IN, Chad Powell of Goshen, IN, Patrice Davis and Keith A. (Eve) Davis Jr. He was a doting grandfather to 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Pastor Kevin (Rhonda) Davis Sr., Kim Davis, and Michelle Perry (Pastor Ronnie) Perry all of South Bend, IN. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Lucius Hudson and Willa K. Lottie, his sisters Pamela Davis and Cheryle Hudson-Carter, his paternal grandmother, Martha Fultz, maternal grandparents, Eugene (Ersaline) Davis, granddaughter, Dominique Herron along with aunts and uncles.
