KEITH ELMORE Obituary
Mr. Keith N. Elmore, affectionately known as "KeKe", to his family and friends was the first-born son of Nathaniel Elmore and Bessie Jean Arnold of Indianapolis, Indiana. He entered this life on October 19, 1955.
Keith received his early education in the Indianapolis Public School system. He attended and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, which became the first African American school in 1927.
Keith was an avid sports fan. He could tell you anything about sports such as the stats of any player, especially the Pacers. His favorite show to watch every morning was "First Take" with Stephan A. Smith. Keith would often call his son Keith Jr. to talk about the Pacers or whatever team that was playing.
Keith accepted Christ early on in life and became a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Keith joined the Senior and Junior Brotherhood ministry which provided mentorship towards the youth in the community. He also enjoyed singing with the Male Chorus where he sang his favorite song "God has a Blessing."
Keith retired from the Salvation Army where he received a Certificate of Appreciation for his outstanding service and dedication in 2021. Although Keith retired, he went on to work for Goodwill Industries in the SCSEP program which is dedicated to senior citizens until death.
Keith departed this earthly life on July 5, 2025, at the age of sixty-nine years old surrounded by his wife, Judy, son, Keith daughter, Shana, and daughter-in-law, Debbie. Motley, Jr., Brett Ryle, Lance Ryle, Kevin James Elmore, Sr., and his sister, Natalie A. Anderson.
