WATERBURY - It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Keith Jason “Json” Gomes, artistically known as JGomes, who was born on February 13, 1986, and transitioned from this life on December 24, 2025. Keith answered the call to eternal rest, and while our hearts grieve, we trust that he is now at peace in the presence of the Lord.

Json was a gifted and expressive artist whose creativity flowed from a deep and sensitive spirit. Through his work as JGomes, he used art as a powerful form of expression—communicating emotion, truth, and depth in ways that words often could not. His creativity was a reflection of his soul, and his artistic legacy will live on through those touched by his work. Through his music and videos, Json leaves a living testament to his creativity and the life he shared with the world.

He is remembered by his wife, Tiffany Gomes, along with the children, Mila, Xzavior, and Bella.

He is also lovingly remembered by his godparents, Eric Barboza and Aunt Teresa “Terry” Gomes; his aunts, Minna White and Sonjia Gomes; and his uncles, Oliver “David” Gomes, Anthony Thomas (Carolyn), Asa Walton, Sevic Walton, Steven Parker, Bernard Riddick, Carl Watkins (Polly), Calvin “Junie” Evans, and Benjamin Ward.

Json is further remembered by his cousins/brothers & sisters: Ryan (Danielle) Gomes, Reggie Wilson, Christopher (Mahalia) Patterson, Tayvon Gomes, Marcellus Gomes, Jayden Goodson, Oliver “Ollie” Gomes, Nakia Gomes, Rashawn “Kee Kee” Wilson, RaGean “Loni” Wilson, RaJhai (Dorsey) Spencer, Kimberly (Lance) Walker, OnRae Watkins, Carlisha Watkins, Carl Watkins Jr., Destiny Ward, Journey Ward, Michael Eggleston, Stephanie Ecklin, Steven Notice Jr., Patrice Notice, Terrez (Candice) Thomas, Aaron (Gina) Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Shekila Miles, Jennifer Kee, Larhonda Hemingway Redding, Andrew Barboza, Eddie Cardoza, and Kai (Erica) Barboza, along with a host of extended family members and friends whose lives were forever impacted by his presence.
