Keith E. "Whitey" Grant, 75, a resident since 1997 of Memphis, Missouri, formerly of Davis County, Iowa, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a farmer for most of his life until his retirement in 1997, died in Memphis on Saturday, November 18, 2000. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2000, after 9 a.m., at Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home, 18754 Highway 63, Bloomfield, Iowa. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, November 22, 1:30 p.m., at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Quentin Johnson. Burial will be at Pulaski Cemetery, Pulaski, Iowa. Military rites will be conferred by the Reed-Whisler Post 78 American Legion of Bloomfield and the Wallace W. Gillespie Post No. 4958 VFW of Memphis. Memorial donations are appreciated to Davis County Fair Board or Scotland County Care Center, c/o Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home, 18754 Highway 63, Bloomfield, IA 52537. Arrangements entrusted to Henkenius-Priester Funeral Home, Bloomfield, Iowa.
