Keith Patrick Haley, 82, of Elberfeld, Indiana passed away peacefully in his sleep, holding the hand of his beloved wife, Becky, on Thursday, May 29th, 2025.
Keith was born on April 8th, 1943, in Haubstadt, Indiana to his parents Thomas and Edna (Hirsch) Haley. Keith attended school at St. Peter and Paul and Haubstadt High School. He later joined the U.S. Army in1961, where he served as an Ammo Handler in multiple overseas operations. He entered and retired from the workforce as Heavy Equipment Operator, working at Old Ben Coal Company and Koberstein. Keith was a member of American Legion Post 256, United Mine Workers, and Local 181 Heavy Equipment Operator. Keith enjoyed all “BORNTO BE FREE” activities including exploring the great outdoors through motorcycle riding, hunting and fishing, camping, riding horses, catching sun, and jeeping.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his aunt, Midred Haley; and his brother, Larry Haley. He is survived by his beloved wife, Becky; his children, Shannon (Dave) Dunn, Kelly (Melissa) Haley, Amanda (Jacob) Stivers, and Brittany (Dustin) Ailstock; grandchildren, Morgan and Sydney Jackson, Kelsey and Journee Spindler, Jace Adler, and Wyatt and Whitley Stivers; sister-in-law, Shirley Haley; and many nieces, nephews, great and grandnieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held for Keith on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Volkman Chapel, 2nd and Elm St, Elberfeld, IN 47613, with full military honors.
A visitation will be held on the same day, from 3:00 p.m. Until the time of the Funeral Service at 6:00 p.m., also at Titzer Family Funeral Homes Volkman Chapel in Elberfeld, IN.
