 Keith Hierman, age 51 of Plymouth passed away on February 25, 2024. 

 He was born in Lake Forest, Illinois to his parents Ruth (née Metcalf) and the late Thomas Leland Hierman.

Keith is the loving and devoted husband of 18 years to Sarah (née Waelde) Hierman; loving father of two children – Thomas Hierman and Joseph Hierman; also survived by his mother Ruth Hierman, his father-in-law David (Barbara) Waelde.  He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his brother Kenn (Pieter Snyman) Hierman and his niece Gwen Hierman. 

He is preceded in death by his son, Gabriel Hierman, his father, Thomas Leland Hierman and his mother-in-law Nancy Waelde.

Keith enjoyed a successful career at Ford Motor Company as a Mechanical Engineer. Keith was an avid sports fan who bled Maize and Blue and loved the Detroit Tigers and Chicago Cubs. He loved traveling, movies, wine, and a well prepared filet mignon. He also recently took up tennis with the family and walking and never missed a chance to watch his boys in whatever activity they were doing.  

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.  A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, March 2, 2024 beginning at 4:00 P.M. A casual celebration of Keith's life will be held immediately following the service at Stella's Black Dog Tavern, located at 860 Fralick St., Plymouth, Michigan.

Keith will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth, Michigan.
