Keith Killgore, 62, longtime resident of Albany, passed away after many years of battling a variety of medical issues. He was the son of David and Naydene Killgore.
Keith was a veteran having served in both the Coast Guard and US Army National Guard. He was awarded the Army Achievement medal for meritorious service as a Medic. He graduated in 1980 from South Albany High School and earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Western Oregon University. As an athlete, Keith competed in both Cross Country and Track. Keith loved music and in his younger days played drums in a country rock band. He passed his love of music to his son, Andrew, who is an accomplished musician.
Keith is survived by his mother, Naydene (Straight) Killgore; son, Andrew Killgore (Spouse: Danielle); brothers and Sisters in Law, Steve (Sally), Garry (Lisa), Robert (Sherri) and David Killgore; granddaughter, Natalie and numerus nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his father, David and Grandparents Jim and Grace Straight and Edith Killgore.
He will long be remembered as a loving, caring and generous person. Keith will be interred at Willamette Memorial Park.
