Keith W. Kline, age 71 of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at this home.

Keith was born on January 26, 1954, in Centralia, Illinois, the son of Darrell and Nancy (Galbreath) Kline. He married Mary Jo (Cross) Kline on February 16, 1974, in Dahlgren, Illinois and she preceded him in death on June 9, 2025.

Survivors include his two daughters, Jennifer Miller and husband Marc of Highland, Illinois and Samantha Leasher and husband Dale of Salem; grandchildren, Tessa Miller, Tate Miller, and Taylor Leasher; and a step grandson, D. Reese Leasher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Darrell and Nancy, and his wife, Mary Jo.

Keith honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corp. After his service he came back home and worked with his father at Darrell's Pump Repair in the oil field.

Keith had a deep love for the outdoors and animals. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and 4-wheeler and was passionate about both cars and motorcycles. Known for his story telling, Keith spent time as a HAM Radio operator and enjoyed tinkering with projects of all kinds.

At this time there will be no public services. Memorial contributions can be made to the Vets and Pets of Southern Illinois with the Wright-Way Rescue out of Murphysboro, Illinois and will be received at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem who is assisting the family with arrangements.
