Keith was born in Evansville, Indiana on May 15, 1957 to the late Kenneth Edward and Mary Elizabeth (Martin) LaMell. He attended Mt. Vernon High School and retired from Killebrew Brick as a truck driver. Keith previously worked at Kerry Ingredients Inc. for many years. He was a family man and an awesome baseball coach for his boys growing up. In his younger years, Keith enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, papaw and friend.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Peggy (Adams) LaMell of Evansville, IN; sons, Brian LaMell (April) of Evansville, IN and Jason LaMell (Brandi) of Newburgh, IN; sisters, Rayetta Small, Jackie Debes (Stephen) and Loretta Kappert (Donnie); grandchildren, Destiny, Danny, Mason, Alexis, Caitlin and Bryleigh; and many nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Cindy LaMell, Tommy LaMell and Kenneth Edward LaMell Jr.
A celebration of Keith's life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Burial will follow at Blue Grass Church Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
