Keith was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on April 12, 1932, to Leonard and Linda (Sager) Magee. He graduated from Central High School in 1951 and served four years in the U.S. Navy and specialized in Photography, Radar, and Aviation Controlling during the Korean Conflict.

After serving in the Navy, he worked at Convair Aviation Company for several years in San Diego, California. He moved back to Sioux City in 1963 and married Jacqueline Perrin on February 14, 1964. He was employed by his father as a Carpet Layer for many years. Later he worked at Suzuki Motorcycles, Everett's Furniture as a salesman, Magee's Burgers, and ABC Amusements for son Joel, and then Argosy Casino. Keith retired at the age of 82 but then went on to help in the Ebay Sales Home Business for his three sons.

In earlier years, he was interested in his 1973 Chevy Impala and took it to car shows and won a few trophies. He and his wife liked to go to car shows and ride motorcycles when he worked for Suzuki.

He loved his children and grandchildren. Keith and Jackie did a lot of babysitting for their son Jerry's boys, Derrick and Brandon, and sometimes Joel's daughter, Tiffany.

Keith attended CrossPointe Church and had several ministry duties of Usher, Organizer, and taking care of the church property. The most important part of his life was Jesus and his responsibilities at his church.

After retirement, Keith enjoyed cooking at home and at the church. He also enjoyed having coffee time with friends. He kept busy by mowing and doing yard work on his 1.5 acres.

Survivors include his wife Jacqueline Magee; three sons: Jerry (Laura) Magee of Greenville, South Carolina, Joel (Kimmie) Magee of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Benjamin (Shawna) Magee of Sioux City, Iowa; Grandchildren: Derrick (Annie), Brandon (Payton), Jackson, Bailey, and Tiffany (Dylan); great grandchildren: Emmett and Violet; nephews: Bruce and Rhonda Kauspedas and family, Craig and Robin Kauspedas, Gary and Linda Magee; great nephew Justin Magee; and many other nieces and nephews.

I worked with Keith at Everett's Furniture in South Sioux many moons ago (1969-1971). I was his trainee as far as laying carpet--he taught me how to seam carpet with needle and waxed thread. I remember his sense of humor and that he was a bundle of energy. Fun guy to work with.
