Keith J. McPherson

Keith McPherson, age 68, passed away on August 2, 2025. Beloved husband of Denise McPherson; loving father of Ian (Janice); devoted son of Dolores and the late William McPherson; dear brother of Scott (Jolene), Joe (Val), Karen, Kevin (Jaci), and Chuck (Karen); adored uncle of Andrea (Steve), Shawna (Ryan), Nick (Katie), Abby (Ernest), Julia (Nathan), Evelyn, Riley, Elisha (Nathan), Angie (Tony), Kyle, Nathan, Katy, Joey (Haydee); caring great-uncle to Juliette, Kevin, Holden, Sylvia, Emery, Gavin, Brayden, Jamison, Nora, Amelia, Wilson, Eleanor, Lucy, and Samantha.
Keith was a man who loved fiercely, was honest (sometimes brutally), loyal, hilarious with an amazing sarcastic wit, brilliant, talented in so many ways from art to paleontology to music, but was also imperfect and humanly flawed. He had the ability to see and love everyone for who they were despite flaws, imperfections or lapses in judgement. He felt that we are not defined by our mistakes, but how we choose to carry on after, to lean on those we love and to choose our own path. Keith loved hikes in the park, looking at how the river carved out the earth and of course the fossils! His collection includes hundreds. He was an avid Notre Dame football fan and was fortunate to attend many games.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 P.M. on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Tomon & Sons Funeral Home, 7327 Pearl Rd, Middleburg Hts, 44130. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 A.M. on Friday, August 8, 2025, at St. Basil the Great Catholic Church, 8700 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, 44141. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 6303 Center Rd. Valley City, 44280.
