Keith Lamont Miller

Keith Lamont Miller 64, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Kobacker House, after bravely battling a long illness. He was surrounded by care and comfort in his final days. Keith was born to Paul Miller Sr and Ruth Ann Miller in Columbus, Ohio.

Keith had a lifelong love of music and shared that passion as the drummer of the Back Street Band for many years, bringing joy to many through his talent and dedication. He worked in masonry alongside his family and later as a machinist, taking pride in his craftsmanship and strong work ethic.

He graduated from Whitehall Yearling High School and Eastland Vocational School in 1980, accomplishments he carried with quiet pride.

Keith was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ruth Ann Miller, and his grandparents, Perry and Ruth French, and Clara Evelyn Bivens.

He is survived by his loving son, Kyle Keith Miller, who was the pride and joy of his life; his father, Paul Miller Sr.; his siblings, Paul Miller Jr. (Maria), Dirk Miller and Tami Ranalli and special friend Cristi Krauss, as well as many aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss him deeply. Keith will be remembered for his love of music, his devotion to family, and the many connections he made throughout his life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held January 17, 2026, at Evans Funeral Home 4171 E. Livingston A43227, Columbus OH, 43227 from 10 AM to 1 PM.
