Funeral services celebrating the life of Mr. Keith Joseph “Pete” Pierce, 79, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Clark Springs Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA with Bro. Kyle Bryan and Bro. Mickey Hudnall officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery in Eros, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Pierce was born on May 21, 1945, in Jeanerette, LA and passed away on May 19, 2025, at his residence in West Monroe, LA. Pete was a member of Clark Springs Baptist Church. He loved his family, his church and the outdoors hunting and fishing.
Pete is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Tate; his beloved wife, Karla Ann Brady Pierce and his brother, Mark Verrett.
Survivors include his wife, Myrna Pierce; children, Tina Calhoun and husband, Jay, Yvonne Salsbury and husband, Travis, Keith “Beau” Pierce and wife, Kim, Vickie Goodman and husband, John, and Stacy Morris and husband, Jay; bonus children, Tom Bont Jr. and wife, Angela and Jim Barnes Jr., Cheryl Hogue and husband, Kenny, Cindi Bont, Dawn Hodges, and Tracie Lenard and husband, Philip; sisters, Lenora Davis and Donna Prudhomme; twenty six grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren and his beloved fur baby, Suzie Q.
Pallbearers will be Ben Calhoun, Jason Calhoun, Matthew Calhoun, Quincy “P.J. Hodges, IV, Ryan Lewis, Daniel Goodman, Michael Goodman and Jim Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be LaRon Owens.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, May 23, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the U.S. Veterans Administration or American Cancer Society.
