Keith A. Russell, 61, of Bellevue, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024 at the Bellevue Hospital.
Mr. Russell was born in Bellevue on June 21, 1963 to Roger L and Janet (Moyer) Russell. He graduated from Heritage Christian School, Sandusky in 1981. He was a member of Faith Bible Church, Bellevue.
Keith was an active member of Faith Bible Church in Bellevue, where he had served as treasurer, song leader, usher and Sunday School teacher at various times. He had been a Sandusky County Elections presiding judge for many years.
Keith had served with the Groton Township Fire Department, retiring as a Lieutenant with 29 years of service.
He worked for Whirlpool as well as being the owner of the former Downtown Florists.
On August 9, 1986, he married the former Rochelle Townsend. Rochelle preceded him in death on February 26, 2022
Keith is survived by three daughters, Kristy (Brad) Ungerer of Bellevue, Holly Martin of Fremont, Sara (Brandon) Hade of Bellevue; two sons, Nicholas (Beth) Martin of Bellevue, Joshua (Karen) Russell of Castalia; 13 grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Jessalynn, Colton; Kayla, Jadin, Amaya; Benjamin, Zachary; Rebecca, Jacob; Noah and Ella; his mom, Janet; two brothers, Gregory (Dawn) Russell of Bellevue, Eric Russell of Norwalk; sister, Lori (Dan) Riedy of Bellevue.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2024, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, Bellevue, Ohio. The funeral will be on Thursday, July 18, 2024, 10:30 am at the Faith Bible Church of Bellevue, Bellevue, Ohio, with Pastor Scott Jones officiating.
Burial will take place in the York Free Chapel Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Faith Bible Church.
