Keith Allen Strunk

Keith Allen Strunk, Sr., 72, of Stroudsburg passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Georgia (Neipert) Strunk.
Born May 22, 1952, in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Geoge H. Strunk Sr and the late Evelyn (Smith) Strunk. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
Prior to his retirement he was a sergeant for Stroud Township Police Department and then the Stroud Regional. He also owned and operated both General Flooring and Tannersville flooring. He and his wife also owned and operated Strunky's Pub on Crystal Street, East Stroudsburg.
He also worked as a funeral assistant for the former Lanterman & Allen Funeral home for many years, and then assisted at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home.
Keith loved and enjoyed Camp Lake Ariel Hunting Camp in Pike County. He was a member of the Acme Hose Company #1 Volunteer Fire Company, East Stroudsburg; he was also a member of the American Legion Post 346, East Stroudsburg, and the East Stroudsburg Elks #319, East Stroudsburg.
Keith played the drums and was the drummer for the Pocono Playboys.
In addition, to his wife Georgia, Keith is survived by his 3 sons, Keith A Strunk Jr of East Stroudsburg, Gregory A. Strunk and his companion Jessie Colandino of Stroudsburg, and Scott A. Strunk and hi wife Tammi of Stroudsburg.
His grandchildren Keith A. Strunk III, Emily Strunk, Kaylee Strunk, Mckayla Strunk, Teagan Strunk, Travis Strunk and Lucas Strunk; and his bonus granddaughter Juliana Methlie.
He is also survived by his brothers George H. Strunk Jr, of Stroudsburg and Glenn L. Strunk and his wife Leeann of Magnolia, Delaware; his 2 nephews Jason Strunk and Nathan Strunk, and his niece Rachael Wright; and his friend Paul Slivka, a person that went above and beyond, helping Keith during his illness.
He was predeceased by his Brother Edward Strunk.
There will be a visitation on Saturday November 23, 2024, from 9:30am until the time of the service at 11:00am at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, 915 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Dana Antal officiating.
