Keith Wayne Tomko, 50, of Clearwater died January 24, 2008 at the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast Woodside in Pinellas Park, Florida. He was born June 7, 1957 to Mary Alice and Andrew Stephen Tomko in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He moved with his family to Redington Beach, Florida at the age of three. He was raised in Redington Beach, and moved to Largo upon his marriage to Susan Netzel. After Susan passed in 1995, Keith married Deborah L. Flor and they moved to Clearwater in 1997. Keith Tomko attended Seminole Senior High School, Class of 1975, where he graduated with diploma and honors. He then attended Pinellas Vocational Technical Institute from 1975 through 1979. After attending the fire academy in January of 1979, he attended Saint Petersburg College receiving his Emergency Medical Technician degree in 1979. He further pursued his education, receiving his paramedic certification from Saint Petersburg College in September of 1981. He was a National Honor Society member, was on the NRA millennium honor roll, and a NRA legion of honor. He dedicated twenty-seven years of service to the Seminole Fire Department as a fireman/paramedic, retiring in January of 2006. Keith Tomko is survived by his mother (Mary Alice Dangerfield) of Largo, sister (Sharon Jock) of Bradenton and family, fraternal twin brother (Karl Tomko) of Largo and family, and wife (Deborah L. Tomko) of Clearwater and family. In lieu of flowers the family requests your contributions be sent to Hospice of the Florida Suncoast in honor of their support of Keith in his departure.
