Keith Wolmarans, 27, of Iowa Falls, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 and will begin at 6 p.m. with a time of sharing at the Boat Club in Iowa Falls. Please join the family to share memories and a meal. Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls.

Keith Wolmarans was born on August 28, 1998, in Bloemfontein, South Africa, to Gerhard van der Merwe and Trish Wolmarans.

Keith's life started off rough with underdeveloped lungs at birth, the doctor's telling his mother if he can make it the next 24 hours, they will intervene. The fighter in Keith was already in him, and he made the next 24 hours.

Keith's two favorite things in the world (before meeting Molly of course) were rugby and agriculture. To gain as much experience as he could, he even traveled to the Philippines. Keith was never scared to take on new opportunities and did everything with integrity. He was loved by everyone and would creep into your heart without you even realizing it. Keith's infectious laugh would draw everybody in. He was the life of every event, always had something funny to say, was honest, kind, caring, and helpful. Keith had a wealth of knowledge and loved to use it to help wherever he could.

It's not the amount of years in your life, but the amount of life in your years, and Keith filled every living moment to the fullest. Our hearts are shattered, our lives changed forever.

Keith is survived and missed by his wife Molly, his son Luka, mother Trish, sister Kimberlee, brother Connor, Aunty Karen, and cousins Keenan, Kyle, Shannon, and Caira. He is also survived by his wife Molly's family and many friends who absolutely loved and adored him. Keith was the grandson of Peter and Dorothy Wolmarans, whose namesake he proudly carried on.
