Kellan Michael Ford

Kellan Michael Ford (5), of Harleysville, went home to the Lord to receive his angel wings on Friday, June 11, 2021. Kellan was born March 11, 2016 to his loving parents Michael and Kristin (Kane) and he was the best friend and little brother of Parker Ford. Kellan will be remembered as a compassionate, loving, grateful and sassy boy. He was a proud pet parent of Fishy. Kellan enjoyed mini-golf, karate, soccer, board/video/card games, Legos, dancing and telling jokes. He was an enthusiastic preschooler at Saint Helena, an honorary Demo Team Captain at Action Karate North Wales and avid soccer player. He was his happiest when he was with family at the beach, outside or snuggling. We will always remember his infectious smile and joyous laugh. Although his time with us was brief he taught us the importance of faith and happiness despite life's challenges. In addition to his parents and big brother, Kellan is survived by his great grandparents Joseph and Elizabeth (Craney) Gormely, Frank and Carolyn Ford; grandparents Gary and Joanne (Gormley) Kane Sr., Michael and Frances Ford Sr., Blake and Debra (Geiger) Bowers; aunts and uncles Gary and Rachel (Rode) Kane Jr., Dean and Kelly (Kane) Shacklett Jr., Victoria Kane, Joanna Kane, Jack Kane, Kyle Kane, Karly Kane, Nicole Ford; and his cousins Dean III, Ryan and Khloe Shacklett, Gary III and Sophia Kane, and Hunter (Ford) vanHorn. Family and friends are invited to share in Kellan's Life Celebration on Thursday June 17, from 5 PM to 9 PM at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish of East Norriton, 200 West Germantown Pike, 610-277-7000, and on Friday June 18, from 9 to 10:50 AM at St. Helena's Church 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA. His Mass of Christian burial will begin at 11 AM. Interment will be at Westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd.
