Kelley Mitchell Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center on Dec. 9, 2025.
Kelley Ann Mitchell, 46, of Delaware, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday morning, December 6, 2025, at her residence.
She was born July 4, 1979, in Metairie, Louisiana, to Michael and Terrye (Palmisano) Rabalais. On August 31, 2014, she married her best friend, Jason Mitchell, and together they shared 11 wonderful years of marriage.
Kelley served as a coding team manager for Sedgwick, where she shared her passion for helping others. She was also an avid OSU fan. She loved the sun, the ocean, and spending time at the beach - especially during yearly trips to Virginia Beach. A true social butterfly, she enjoyed having fun, going shopping, and making others laugh. She was always eager to share a good "dad joke."
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jason; stepsons, Carter and Davis Mitchell; parents, Michael and Terrye Rabalais of Powell; sisters, Amy (Kelly) Kammann of Powell, Megan (Micheal) Sexton of Columbus, and Lindsey Rabalais of Powell; niece, Haley Kammann; in-laws, Jeff and Sharon Mitchell of Lucasville; brother-in-law, Brian (Lena) Mitchell of Hilliard; sister-in-law, Lori Crabtree (Michael) of Lucasville and her beloved canine companion, Baxter.
Kelley was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Heather Renee Parsons, along with several other cherished loved ones.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1 - 3 pm at the Snyder Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive at W. William Street, Delaware, where services celebrating her life will follow at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Kelley's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Delaware County, 4920 OH-37, Delaware, OH 43015 or by visiting www.hsdcohio.org/donate/
