Kellian Monek Lee-Johnson, affectionately known to friends and family as "Cookie," graced this world with her presence on October 18, 1965. She departed from us far too soon on June 15, 2025. Kellian was a luminous beacon of love, determination, and joy, whose spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
In her daily life, Kellian exemplified a blend of hard work and kindness, embodying the qualities that made her not just a friend, but a cherished fixture in the lives of those around her. Her dedication to those she loved was unparalleled; she poured her heart and soul into every endeavor. Yet, it was not only her dedication that shone through — Kellian was equally renowned for her fun-loving nature, finding delight in life’s simplest pleasures. Whether it was sharing laughter over a meal or engaging in candid conversations, she created memories that will be cherished forever.
Stubbornness, often a trait that divides, became a term of endearment when used to describe Kellian, for her determination paved the way to countless accomplishments and ushered in the warmth and comfort she brought into so many lives. It was this same spirit that inspired others to rally around her, knowing they always had a staunch supporter who would stand by them in times of need.
Kellian found joy in life's quiet moments, relishing the time she spent relaxing while watching Lifetime movies, passionately immersed in stories that unfolded on the screen before her. In these moments, her laughter rang through the house, making any place feel like home. Those evenings draped in the fabric of simplicity are now woven into the collective memory of her loved ones.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Thaddeus Johnson; three children, Ketra Lee-Terrell, Keith Lee II (Hayley) and Thaddeus Johnson Jr. (Jennifer); eight grandchildren, Kashia Lee-Terrell, Kyla Lee-Terrell, Kaylee Lee, Jayson Lee, Iris Lee, Ocean Johnson, Huey Johnson, and Elijah Chavez; one beloved great grandson, Semaj Jones; her niece – that she daughtered, Zoe White.
Mrs. Kellian Monek Lee - Johnson was preceded in death by her father, Eugene White. Charles R. McCoy (stepfather) and Sharon E. McCoy (Woods-White) mother resides in Frisco, Texas. The remaining siblings are Jaimie L. White of Belleville, Illinois, Nicole S. White of Garland, Texas, Anissa R. McCoy of Frisco, Texas, Ronald K. C. McCoy of Frisco, Texas, and Joel R. (Vashaun) McCoy of Dallas, Texas, and a host of more beloved nieces, nephews, relatives, family, and friends.
As we mourn the loss of Kellian Monek Lee-Johnson, let us celebrate the vibrant life she lived, marked by kindness, resilience, and the unwavering love she radiated. Though she has departed from this physical realm, her spirit will forever resonate within the hearts of those she touched. In every laugh echoing through the halls, in every cherished memory, she lives on, reminding us all to embrace life with the same passion and joy that she did.
