Shalaundra Manning, affectionately known as Shailaun, was born on July 28, 1988, in Mineral Wells, Texas, and departed this world far too soon on August 30, 2025. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with her many passions—acting, singing, songwriting, and modeling. She exuded a radiant spirit that left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Shalaundra's journey through life was characterized not just by her talents but also by her infectious positivity. She carried a motto that inspired many: "Spread Love." This encapsulated her very essence—she was positive, outgoing, optimistic, caring, supportive, and overwhelmingly loving. Her vibrant personality and zest for life were evident whether she was performing on stage, cooking a meal for family, or simply enjoying time spent with loved ones.

As an accomplished R&B singer, Shalaundra’s proudest moment came with the release of her first music album, a testament to her hard work and passion. She dazzled audiences with her powerful voice, moving them with every note during her concerts. Those who attended her performances will forever cherish the memories of her spirit shining through as she sang and danced, captivating hearts and igniting joy.

Her educational journey culminated in a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, which complemented her artistic endeavors and allowed her to communicate her creativity effectively. Shalaundra was more than an artist; she was a storyteller, using her talents to connect with people and share her experiences.

In her leisure, she found joy in a multitude of activities. Shalaundra loved singing and dancing, taking the time to immerse herself in the beauty of painting, traveling, and staying fit through regular workouts. She often shared these moments with family, relishing in the simple yet profound joys of life.

Shalaundra leaves behind a legacy of love and creativity, a reminder to all of us to embrace our passions and uplift those around us. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit, smile, voice, and dance moves will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched.

Her life will be honored during visitation at Golden Gate Funeral Home in Fort Worth, Texas, on September 12, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a visitation at Word of Truth Family Church in Arlington on September 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will take place at the same location on September 13 at 12:00 PM. Shalaundra exuded radiant energy. We welcome you to join us in not wearing black, and instead wearing a vibrant color for the celebration. Her favorite color is teal.

Shalaundra Manning may be gone, but her vibrant spirit will continue to inspire and bring joy to those who cherish her memory.
