Kelly L. Ball

Kelly L. Ball, age 84, passed away at his home in Lake Orion on Sunday 11/23/2025.
Kelly was a long-time resident of Lake Orion. He moved to the area in 1977 early in his career with Ford Tractor, and stayed through his retirement years.
Kelly was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, trapping and fishing whenever possible. In his later years he took great joy in introducing young people to his favorite outdoor pursuits making his backyard a popular neighborhood fishing spot. He enthusiastically gave himself the nickname of "Benevolent Mountain Man".
One of his most defining attributes was his devotion to friends and family. He was always willing to help with any problem, he was incredibly dependable never missing a day of work or school, and his devotion to his kids and grandkids was always his top priority.
He was the loving husband of the late Patricia for 58 years, dear father of Kendy Marie Kutchek and Michael Kelly (Kimberly) Ball, cherished grandfather of Jessica, Joshua, Jacob, Kyle and Cooper. Brother of Keith Ball and the late Ken (Angela) Ball.
