Kelly Marie Collins, 36, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2024, at home.
Services are 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 6, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is from 1:00 p.m. until time of services. Memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established for Kelly’s daughters.
Kelly Marie Collins was born April 8, 1987, in Falls Church, Virginia, the daughter of Sean Collins and Michelle Bryant. She graduated from Davenport West High School and spent the last 10 years with the love of her life, Kevin Tague, with whom she had two daughters, Lidia and Stevie.
She worked in maintenance at the I-80 Rest Stop for the past 10 years. She attended St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Buffalo, Iowa, while growing up. She loved arts and crafts of all kinds, and was especially talented at drawing. She was also drawn to anything related to the Titanic and Nightmare Before Christmas. Above all else, Kelly’s daughters, Lidia and Stevie, were Kelly’s world, and they will forever be her legacy.
Kelly is survived by her beloved daughters, Lidia and Stephanie “Stevie” Tague; her partner, Kevin Tague; her father and step-mother, Sean and Kimberly Collins of Walcott, Iowa; her mother and step-father, Michelle and Terry Norris of New Carlisle, Ohio; her sister, Caitlin (Kyle Dexter) Collins of Davenport; step-sisters, Carly Norris of Dayton, Ohio, Briana (Chris) Courbat of Eldridge, Iowa, Bethany (Robert) Reese of Colona, Illinois, and Kristin (Josh) Bostic of Sherrard, Illinois; her grandparents, Daniel Collins of Bettendorf, Sandra Bryant of Bettendorf, and Rose and Art Combs of Boqueron, Puerto Rico; aunts and uncles, Patrick (Jessie) Collins of Cynthiana, Kentucky, Cary (Judie) Bryant of Pickerington, Ohio, Elizabeth Dingeldein of Bettendorf, and Kevin (Nena) Bryant of Fishers, Indiana; nieces and nephews, Grayson Hernandez, Aiden Crotty, Riley, Ethan Norris, Lilyana, Kayden and Gabriella Lievens, Gracelynn Pilcher, Laynee and Lydia Courbat, Eli Reese, and Mackenzie Bostic; and cousins, friends, and Kevin’s family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Leslee Collins; grandfather, David Bryant; niece, Araya Hernandez; and nephew, Conner Norris.
