Kelly Daly Obituary

In Loving Memory of Kelly Ann Ross Daly

On February 2, 2025, Kelly Ann Ross Daly from Independence KY, went to heaven to join our beloved parents, the late Carol Ann Ross, and the late Kenneth A. Ross. She was 64 years old and was preceded in death by her husband David A. Daly. As the mother of three, grandmother of six, and the eldest of Carol and Ken’s eight children, she leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Kelly’s Heart of Gold will forever shine in the hearts of those who love her.

She is survived by her children, Anna West, Justin Daly, and Michelle Daly, who she loved so deeply. Kelly’s beautiful grandchildren, Abby, Peyton, Chloe, Elijah, Aiden, and Eden brought so much joy to her life; she adored them. Kelly's passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt by all, including her siblings, Brett, Becky, Sherri, Laurie, Scott, Todd, and Mary. Kelly's warmth and humor touched the lives of many, including cherished nieces and nephews, our sister Laiken, our stepmother Rosilyn, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. The family gatherings will never be the same without her quick wit and required nap.

To know Kelly was to be charmed by her razor-sharp wit and one-liners. She loved a good nap, to read, the beach, and a beautiful tan. She also loved music and as the oldest, introduced her siblings and kids to great music. She loved to share a good meal, which was mostly “just a bite” of your meal. She loved liver & onions, which we never asked her to share, but if you were willing, she would have given you the last bite. Her smile, love, and humor will be missed, but her memory will forever bring smiles to our faces.

In honoring Kelly's life, please remember the laughter and love, and the impact she had on us all. May she rest in Jesus eternal peace with our mom, who was her best friend.

Visitation will be at Floral Hills Funeral Home (Chapel A) Friday February 7, 2025, from 4:30-7pm, with services at 7pm.
