Kelly Lyn Escalante, age 35, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on January 25, 2026, in Prague. She was born on July 13, 1990, in Shawano, Wisconsin, to Francisco Escalante and Lisa Soman.
Kelly was a devoted and loving mother whose greatest joy in life was her children. She poured her heart into raising Kiliana, Juliana, Joshua, and Kimberly, and her love for them was deep, constant, and unwavering. Time spent with her children—whether playing games, laughing together, or simply being present—meant everything to her.
Kelly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved being outdoors, gathering around bonfires, listening to music, and spending time with those she loved. She had a fondness for dominoes and card games and could often be found enjoying friendly competition with family and friends. She loved star gazing with her mom. Known for her warm heart and gentle spirit, Kelly also had a special affection for turtles, which reflected her appreciation for nature and all living things.
She was preceded in death by her life companion, Joshua Johnson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Kiliana, Juliana, Joshua, and Kimberly; her parents, Frank Escalante and Lisa Soman; and her siblings, Alicia Escalante, Kristina Escalante, Francisco Escalante Jr., Candace Escalante, Yvonne Escalante, Jayden Escalante, Marisa Bailey and husband Jackson, Malena Collins and her husband Kye, and Josh Toellner, Lisa A Waukau and special friend George Swett, Bernard B Brisk and special friend Alison Kelly, Mandy N Brisk along with many extended family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
Kelly will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her children, and the warmth she brought into the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
