Kelly Q. McHugh, a beacon of light and joy, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, at the age of 59. Born on May 5, 1965, in Salisbury, MD, Kelly brought warmth and laughter to everyone she encountered.
Kelly's life was a testament to love and dedication, beautifully illustrated by her nearly 30-year marriage to her soulmate, Daniel T. McHugh, and her wholehearted devotion to their son, Kevin. Her playful spirit and fondness for laughter will be affectionately remembered by her brother, J.P. Quinn, and a close-knit family of 4 brother in laws, 3 sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins who adored her.
She soaked up life like the sun she loved to sit under, finding joy in the companionship of her beloved Puggle, Newman, and seeking adventure in travels to Florida, Las Vegas, and the Caribbean. Whether cheering for the Orioles or the Bills, or getting lost in a good book, Kelly's creative, funny, and friendly nature touched the lives of many.
Kelly's light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories and laughter she leaves behind.
Family and friends will honor and celebrate Kelly's life at the family owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234, for a Receiving of Friends, on Saturday, October 12th 2024, from 5-7 PM. A memorial prayer service will be held at 7 PM, immediately following Receiving of friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to be made to: P.U.N.T
