Mr. Kelly Anderson Sisk, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. He was born on March 13, 1941, the son of the late James Madison Sisk and Mary Lou Dalton Sisk. Kelly was a longtime member of Hills Grove Baptist Church and served his community in the Pilot Mountain Rescue Squad and Pilot Mountain Fire Department. He was also a member of the Ararat Masonic Lodge #558. Kelly was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Kelly was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Jane Beck Sisk, just a few short weeks ago. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, J.M. Sisk, Herbert Sisk, Cardell Sisk, Odell Sisk, Otis Sisk, Lesper Sisk and Johnny Sisk; and a sister, Hulda Jones. Kelly is survived by his four sons, Randy Kent Sisk (Lynn), Kevin Brent Sisk (Lisa), Kendrick Blaine Sisk (Shirley) and Rodney Sean Sisk (Tracey); four grandchildren, Joshua Sisk, Laiken Joyner (Michael), Ryan Sisk and Amber Sisk; one great-grandchild, Kaiden Brown; four brothers, Paul Sisk (Ronalda), Billy Sisk, Glenn Sisk (Sylvia) and Larry Sisk (Loedia); one sister, Annabelle Faries; and many nieces, nephews and extended family. A celebration of Kelly’s life will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Fresh Start Ministries, 6631 Westfield Rd., Westfield, NC 27053 with Rev. Ricky Sisk, Rev. Paul Sisk, Rev. Emmett Crotts and Rev. Brian Chilton officiating. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mountain Valley Hospice and the Woltz Hospice Home, for the wonderful care shown during their parent’s time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Mountain Valley Hospice, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC, 27107.
