Kelvin met his loving wife, Patty, through Eharmony (a story he loved telling) during Labor Day weekend in 2009. They married on July 31st, 2010, spending the remaining 15 years, 1 month, and 6 days together.

Kelvin's additional proudest moments from his life include his daughter Danielle getting married in 2022, and his granddaughter Avery being born in September 2024.

Kelvin enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, watching the LSU Tigers, New Orleans Saints, Houston Astros, and attending SFA sporting events. Kelvin was known to many as Kelly, Mr. HeyMan, and was a great friend. He was an active member of Timber Creek Church, becoming a part of the Dream Team, Becoming Man, Live Oaks, and was an usher.
