It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kendall Wayne Fontenot, who departed this world on Friday, November 17, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. At the age of 71, Kendall's journey in this life has come to an end, leaving behind a legacy filled with love and cherished memories.
Born on March 06, 1952, in Kinder, LA to Murray and Frances Thigpen Fontenot. He proudly served the Eunice area for 37 years as the owner of Kendall Fontenot State Farm Insurance.
Kendall was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. His warm presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. PawPaw found immense joy in spending time with his family, especially his two beloved grandchildren, Lucas Michael and Archie Ray LeJeune. He was an avid fan of all their activities and took a front row seat cheering them on.
Kendall leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories that will forever be treasured by his loving wife of forty-eight years, Peggy Burch Fontenot of Eunice. The apple of his eye was his beloved daughter, Amanda Fontenot LeJeune and her husband Corey of The Woodlands, Tx. Kendall's siblings Adele Unkel and her husband Mike of Kinder, Vernelle Chaney and her husband Swepson of Gonzales, Murray Fontenot Jr. of Kinder, and Jenna Wainwright of Lake Charles also carry fond memories of their time shared together. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Kendall's parents, son Bradley Allen Fontenot, sister Jean Riley, and brothers-in-law William Floyd Riley and Bert Wainwright preceded him in death. Their memories will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved them.
