Mr. Kendrick Blaine Sisk, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 5, 2025. He was born in Forsyth County on February 22, 1968, the son of the late Kelly Anderson Sisk and Jane Catherine Beck Sisk. Kendrick proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1986-1991. He was a loving son, brother and friend who will be missed deeply by all who knew him. Kendrick had never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. He is survived by his wife Shirley Easter Jones; three brothers, Randy Sisk (Lynn), Kevin Sisk (Lisa) and Rodney Sisk (Tracey) all of Pilot Mountain; two nieces, Laiken Joyner (Michael) and Amber Sisk (Levi); two nephews, Joshua Sisk and Ryan Sisk (Adison); and a great-nephew, Kaiden Brown. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service celebrating Kendricks’s life will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Sisk, Rev. Paul Sisk and Rev. Brian Chilton officiating. Inurnment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
